{"id":1644,"date":"2026-04-14T10:36:24","date_gmt":"2026-04-14T01:36:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/j-iia.org\/en\/?p=1644"},"modified":"2026-04-15T13:58:06","modified_gmt":"2026-04-15T04:58:06","slug":"jiia-hold-meeting-with-the-korea-influencer-e-commerce-association","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/j-iia.org\/en\/jiia-hold-meeting-with-the-korea-influencer-e-commerce-association\/","title":{"rendered":"JIIA held meeting with the Korea Influencer E-Commerce Association"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Japan International Influencer Association (JIIA) held an exchange of views and discussions regarding future initiatives for the development of the influencer industry with Mr. Namyoul Kim, Chairman, and Mr. Leo Lee, Director, of the KOREA INFLUENCER E-COMMERCE ASSOCIATION, an influencer-related organization in South Korea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both association\u2019s philosophy is to achieve mutual growth by multiplying the respective values of influencers and companies, thereby driving the industry&#8217;s development. Through practical education and infrastructure development in the e-commerce sector, the associations are promoting the establishment of an environment where influencers can smoothly conduct commercial activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During this exchange of views, JIIA raised practical issues related to the utilization of influencers against the backdrop of expanding cross-border e-commerce. Discussions covered cross-cutting institutional and operational points, including the legality of residential statuses for foreign influencers in both countries, taxation and overseas remittances associated with remuneration payments, and compliance with advertising disclosure regulations.
