The Japan International Influencer Association Preparatory Office (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) recognizes the importance of protecting your personal information. In addition to complying with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as the “APPI”), we shall strive to handle and protect personal information appropriately in accordance with the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Privacy Policy”).
1. Definition of Personal Information In this Privacy Policy, “personal information” shall mean personal information as defined by Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the APPI; that is, information about a living individual which can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, or other descriptions contained in such information (including such information as will allow easy reference to other information and will thereby enable the identification of a particular individual).
2. Purpose of Use of Personal Information The Association shall use your personal information for the following purposes:
- To enable users to use this service smoothly.
- To respond to inquiries from users.
- To perform identity verification, such as when receiving inquiries from users.
- To provide necessary notifications, such as important announcements regarding this service.
3. Change of Purpose of Use of Personal Information The Association may change the purpose of use of personal information within a scope reasonably deemed to be relevant, and in the event of a change, shall notify you or make a public announcement.
4. Restriction on Use of Personal Information Except as permitted by the APPI or other laws and regulations, the Association shall not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use without obtaining your prior consent. However, this shall not apply in the following cases:
- When required by laws and regulations.
- When it is necessary for the protection of a person’s life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain your consent.
- When it is particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound growth of children, and it is difficult to obtain your consent.
- When it is necessary to cooperate with a state organ, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by one in executing the affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining your consent is likely to impede the execution of the said affairs.
5. Proper Acquisition of Personal Information The Association shall acquire personal information properly and shall not acquire it by deception or other wrongful means.
6. Security Control of Personal Information The Association shall take necessary and appropriate measures for the security control of personal information, including preventing the loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information. Furthermore, when entrusting all or part of the handling of personal information, the Association shall exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over the entrusted party to ensure the security control of the entrusted personal information.
7. Provision to Third Parties Except in cases where disclosure is permitted under the APPI or other laws and regulations, the Association shall not provide personal information to a third party without your prior consent. However, the following cases shall not be deemed provision to a third party as stipulated above:
- Cases in which the Association entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use.
- Cases in which personal information is provided as a result of the succession of business in a merger or otherwise.
8. Disclosure of Personal Information When requested by a user to disclose their personal information in accordance with the provisions of the APPI, the Association shall, after confirming that the request is from the individual themselves, disclose the information to the user without delay (if the said personal information does not exist, we will notify the user to that effect). However, this shall not apply in cases where the Association is not obligated to disclose such information under the APPI or other laws and regulations.
9. Correction, etc., of Personal Information If a user requests the correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as “Correction, etc.”) of their personal information on the grounds that it is untrue, in accordance with the provisions of the APPI, the Association shall, after confirming that the request is from the individual themselves, conduct the necessary investigation without delay within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use. Based on the results, the Association shall perform the Correction, etc., of the personal information and notify the user to that effect (if a decision is made not to perform the Correction, etc., the Association shall notify the user to that effect). However, this shall not apply in cases where the Association is not obligated to perform such Correction, etc., under the APPI or other laws and regulations.
10. Suspension of Use, etc., of Personal Information If a user requests the suspension of use or deletion (hereinafter referred to as “Suspension of Use, etc.”) of their personal information in accordance with the provisions of the APPI, on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of the previously published purpose of use or that it was acquired by deception or other wrongful means, and it is found that there are grounds for the request, the Association shall, after confirming that the request is from the individual themselves, perform the Suspension of Use, etc., of the personal information without delay and notify the user to that effect. However, this shall not apply in cases where the Association is not obligated to perform such Suspension of Use, etc., under the APPI or other laws and regulations.
11. Use of Cookies and Other Technologies Our services may use Cookies and similar technologies. These technologies are useful for understanding the usage of our services and contribute to service improvement. Users who wish to disable Cookies can do so by changing their web browser settings. However, disabling Cookies may prevent you from using some features of this service. Our service may feature advertisements delivered by third parties. In such cases, the said third parties may acquire cookie information from users who visit our service. Any cookie information acquired will be handled in accordance with the privacy policies of the respective third parties. You can stop the use of your cookie information for ad delivery. Cookies do not identify you personally or infringe upon your privacy.
12. Continuous Improvement The Association shall review the operational status of the handling of personal information as appropriate and strive for continuous improvement, and may amend this Privacy Policy as necessary.

13. Use of Logos and Company/Organization Names
Our association may use the names and logos of supporting companies and organizations as outlined below.

- To introduce companies and organizations that support or collaborate with our association
- To enhance the credibility and public recognition of our activities
■ Scope of Use
- In principle, usage is limited to display on our official website
- Logos will be displayed while preserving their original proportions and colors to maintain design integrity
- Logos will not be modified or altered in any way
■ Consent Regarding Use
Please note that we do not conduct individual prior confirmations for the use of names and logos.
If you do not consent to such use, kindly indicate this at the time of your support application.
In such cases, your organization’s name and logo will not be used or displayed.
